Adam is the Chief Executive of Blackpool Grand Theatre and a long‑established UK theatre leader with a career spanning major venues across the UK and Northern Ireland.
He has held significant leadership roles in commercial and publicly funded theatres including Crewe Lyceum Theatre, Belfast Waterfront & Ulster Hall, Sherman Theatre (Cardiff), Edinburgh Playhouse, Grand Opera House Belfast, Savoy Theatre Trafalgar Studios, and Piccadilly Theatre.
Adam has a background in professional acting and producing. He has served on the Board of several national arts organisations. In 2026 he was recognised The Stage 100 list as one of the most influential people shaping the industry and setting the agenda in UK theatre in 2026.
Adam became a founding Trustee of Gary Clarke Company in April 2021.
