Emma Tregidden and Dawn Fuller are creative, compassionate collaborators supporting artists, arts organisations and partnerships across Yorkshire with a passion for pioneering, inclusive participatory arts practice, social justice and original research.
In 2003 they founded award winning participatory arts and social change organisation, Space2. After 20 years Emma and Dawn handed over the baton and created Emma and Dawn Collaborations to work more strategically and beyond their home city of Leeds.
Clients include Balbir Singh Dance Company, Music House, Brightbox Makerspace and Roots Mbili Theatre. They have also been instrumental in setting up a new participatory arts space for children, young people and community members in North Leeds, Room 17.
In 2023 they were awarded Honorary Professors of Practice by University of Cumbria for their contribution to participatory arts.
They are also members of the national Advisory Group for University of Leeds INCLUDE+ programme: a network exploring how social and digital environments can be built, shaped and sustained to enable all people to thrive.
